By accepting a place in NCO 2026, you make a commitment that your child will attend in full the activities for their orchestra. You can find these dates and venues via the button below.
Accepting your place FAQs
After receiving your results email, our secure system will take you through a number of steps from the Acceptance Form and then, depending on your selections, onto the Membership Form or a Financial Support Application Form.

In order to accept or decline your place at NCO you should use the Acceptance Form link in your results email. In this email there is a link to a short guidance video that will walk you through the process.
If you have more than one child accepting or declining a place at NCO, you can use the same form for each child by selecting their name from the drop down menu at the top of the form, as long as you save changes before changing the name to the second child.
Once you have completed the Acceptance Form and confirmed you’d like to accept your child’s place, if you did not select that you would like to apply for financial support, you will receive an automated email that contains a link to access the Membership & Payment Form.
The Membership & Payment Form link will take you to a form where you will enter your child’s details, review our policies, express interest in optional additional opportunities for your child and complete payment for their membership.
Membership is only confirmed on receipt of payment of the fees, either in full or part through instalments.
In the Acceptance Form, if you selected that you would like to apply for Financial Support, you will receive an automated email that contains a link to access the Financial Support Application Form.
The Financial Support Application Form link will take you to a form where you enter the email address associated with your child’s audition for NCO. This will cause a second, secure link to be sent to your email address through which you can access and complete the Financial Support Application Form.
It may take up to 30 minutes for you to receive the link to your Membership & Payment Form. If you are waiting more than an hour, please get in touch with auditions@nco.org.uk and a member of the NCO Team will be happy to help.
In the Payee Details section of the form please enter the details of the person that will be making the payment for membership, not the details of the young musician the membership is for.
You should enter the details of the young musician this membership is for, not the details of the person paying for membership. Please remember to use the email address we have associated with the application so that we are able to track the membership and payment in our system. This email address will be the one that your results email was sent to.
When completing the Young Musician Details section of the form, please be aware that the form can autocomplete with the payee details so please check this information carefully before pressing submit.
No. You will be emailed separate Membership & Payment Form links when you accept each child’s place at NCO and you should use only the link associated with each child’s membership. Please check the email and form carefully so that you are paying for the correct membership.
When completing the NCO Young Musician Details section of the form, please be aware that the form can autocomplete with a different child’s details or with the payee details so please check this information carefully before pressing submit.
When you click submit at the bottom of the form you will receive an email confirming your payment and membership. This email will contain your membership information and the amount that you have paid.
If you would like to withdraw your membership for NCO 2026 after you have already made a payment, please refer to our payment policy for information on how to withdraw your membership and have your fees refunded.
