Orchestral Days 2026: Join the Fun!
Non-auditioned orchestral activities for children
We’re excited to announce our first Orchestral Days for 2026. These free one-day open access music workshops are designed for children in school years 4 to 9 who are learning traditional orchestral instruments at around Grades 2 to 5. No auditions are needed, just a love of making music and an interest in taking part in orchestra experiences, perhaps for the first time.
Led by conductor Veronica Urrego, composer Richard Shrewsbury and our team of expert tutors, each Orchestral Day gives young musicians the chance to rehearse, create and perform together in a fun, supportive environment. The day includes ensemble playing, creative music-making and ends with an informal performance for families.
We’re proud to be working with regional partners including Wessex Schools Music, Devon Music Education Hub, Wiltshire Music Centre, and West of England Music and Arts. Together, we’re bringing high-quality and inclusive music-making opportunities to young people in their own communities.
