NCO concerts are for everyone – bring your family and friends to NCO and appreciate the joy and energy you’ll find nowhere else than with a wonderful children’s orchestra.
We have six public concerts a year in concert halls and venues like Bristol Beacon, Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Lighthouse Poole, Portsmouth Guildhall, Woolwich Works and Birmingham’s Symphony Hall.

After a week of rehearsals, creative workshops, and intensive musical sessions, the 12-13 year olds of NCO present the highlight of their first NCO residential of the year. This concert is the result of their hard work, collaboration, and passion for music.

Our 13-14 year old young musicians concludes their first week-long NCO residential with an exciting performance of the Cosmic programme. Throughout the week, the orchestra have explored new ideas, honed their skills, and prepared a programme full of energy and imagination.
Join us and world-renowned organist, presenter, and NCO alumnus Anna Lapwood for a spectacular performance combining orchestra and organ, and experience the creativity and excitement of these young performers.

Join the National Children’s Orchestras for There’s No Planet B, a summer concert celebrating the beauty and fragility of our world, presented by children’s TV presenter Naomi Wilkinson. This exciting programme brings together music that reflects nature, the environment, and the planet we all share, offering an inspiring and moving experience for audiences of all ages.

Our 11-12 year olds present a summer concert full of energy and creativity. Come and enjoy spellbinding music, from dramatic orchestral classics to favourite film scores, and be inspired by the imagination and enthusiasm of these young musicians.

Tickets for under 18s, for students or for those who are currently unwaged are £7.
A free ticket is available if you are joined by an essential carer and adult tickets range from £17 – £23. Audience members aged 5 and under are most welcome and go free of charge.
Not to mention that if you are having instrumental lessons with a Music Education Hub local to the concert venue, you can have up to four NCO First Experience FREE tickets for your family, when you come to see NCO for the first time. On concert days we like the audience to get involved too and present pre-concert activities including:

- Musical workshops
- Open rehearsals
