School concerts

For lots of children the first time they see someone play a musical instrument will be in school - a surprising and exciting moment that sparks the curiosity of the youngest children.
Our in-school interactive concerts are free to schools and are designed to engage primary aged pupils.
A 45 minute concert is presented and performed by our NCO tutors, introducing pupils to the essential building blocks of ensemble and orchestral music making.
Additional activities can include 45 minute workshops for whole class/small group instrumental learners.
Any children taking part in our schools concert receive 2 free tickets to an NCO concert near them.
If you are a teacher, music lead or headteacher, or a Music Hub leader interested to expand the musical horizons of a school in your area please complete our expression of interest form or get in touch with Tamsin, Head of Engagement about NCO presenting a Schools concert with you.
If you are a child or a parent/carer who would like NCO to come to your school, please complete the expression of interest form and/or download the invitation below to your school so they can find out more!
