Our young musicians know – There’s No Planet B

Our young musicians know – There’s No Planet B

Our ‘There’s No Planet B’ programme champions music from living, female composers like Rachel Portman with Endangered and Debbie Wiseman with Carnival of the Endangered Animals, bringing to life this vital issue with new work for a new world.

It also features classics from Gustav Holst and Jean Sibelius that celebrate and illuminate the natural world around us.

NCO young musicians have lots to say about our impact on the world around us and will be presenting each piece with their own thoughts about just that. The concert will be steered by conductor Matthew Quinn and regular CBBC presenter Naomi Wilkinson.

Get involved - book your tickets

Join us at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on Saturday 2nd August with conductor Matthew Quinn and presenter Naomi Wilkinson (CBBC).

Not only can you immerse yourself in the sounds of There’s No Planet B programme, but you can also hear directly from our young musicians about what they think about our impact on the environment and their futures.
