NCO was thrilled to pick up an award at the Weston College Business Awards.
We were delighted to learn that we had been awarded the prize for Industry Placement Employer of the Year at the Weston College Business Awards 2019. Since September 2018, NCO has been supporting Weston College learner, Bella Noble.
In just under a year, Bella has become a valued member of the office team, taking on projects that have supported the preparations for residential courses and concerts.
Sophie Lewis, Managing Director of NCO, commented: “Hosting Bella has been one of the most rewarding and productive experiences for NCO in recent years. Working with Weston College has been great. The process is very straightforward and the support is always there should you need. I would 100% recommend engaging with Weston College through their professional development programme - it worked for us and it worked for the student.”
Principal and CEO of Weston College Group, Dr Paul Phillips, who hosted the awards, said. “Many congratulations to National Children’s Orchestras of Great Britain and all of our award winners. This year we received a record number of nominations. While this made judging an unenviable task, it highlights the wealth of talent among our learners and the level of dedication and expertise within our employer network.
“Without the support of National Children’s Orchestras of Great Britain and our other business partners, it wouldn’t be possible to provide learners with the skills and experience they require in the world of work.”
Thank you Weston College!
