The NCO Board today announced that Sophie Lewis is to take over as Managing Director from Carrie Sage, who is stepping down as planned at the end of 2017.
Dr Peter Stark, Chairman of Trustees said: “The Board and I are thrilled to welcome Sophie to NCO. Her track record at Sinfonia Cymru is truly impressive, and she has won much admiration in very many quarters for her knowledgeable and collegiate leadership. Together with Catherine Arlidge MBE, NCO's recently appointed Artistic and Educational Director, Sophie will be building on already secure foundations, and this formidable team will provide the talented children of this exceptional organisation with an even stronger learning and performing experience.”
