NCO to collaborate with Music:Eyes this spring

See what you hear! Imagine seeing Tchaikovsky’s music in 3D… Music:Eyes allows you to do just that.

This incredible software tool lets you animate music with colours and shapes, and it's coming to NCO!

In our Music for Movement programme, young musicians of the NCO Under 13 Orchestra will create animations to three movements of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. At the world premiere, conductor and Music:Eyes co-director Etienne Abelin will invite the audience to visualize one movement during the concert. Music:Eyes is a software tool that allows for a graphic and poetic visualization of animated musical scores. It is a score meant for listeners, a GPS for music.
