We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to take on a new role fundraising for NCO.
The Development Manager will take on responsibility for looking after all our important supporters, alongside managing an active portfolio of potential grant-makers and handling the growth of the NCO Friends programme.
NCO is the UK’s premier orchestral training ground for exceptional young musicians aged between 7 and 14 years. Over 40 years we have achieved a formidable reputation for the excellence of our work and the life-changing opportunities we offer. This post represents a fantastic opportunity for the personal development of the post holder and a chance to support NCO through the next phase of its development, under the leadership of the new Managing Director and Artistic and Educational Director.
Purpose of the role
- Fundraising: manage and grow a portfolio of grant-makers, making applications to deadline and researching new potential supporters;
- Managing the NCO Friends Programme: reviewing the current scheme, renewing Friends subscriptions, managing churn and growing the scheme in line with NCO’s ambitions;
- Donor Care: managing the stewardship and care of all NCO’s important supporters, to include individual donors, grant-makers and corporate supporters.
